Infamous as Bollywood’s kissing star, Emraan Hashmi has invited trouble for his communal remarks. Sanjay Bedia, a BJP activist, has filed a police complaint against Emraan Hashmi and director Mahesh Bhatt for trying to divide people on religious lines.
Bedia has demanded that the police file an FIR against the film personalities. He questioned why Emraan Hashmi and Mahesh Bhatt started communal divide between two communities. He alleged that Mahesh Bhatt, who has been portraying himself as secular person, has turned communal. The police are now looking into the matter.
Emraan Hashmi had earlier put accusations on the Nibbana Cooperative Housing Society in Pali Hill that he was denied accommodation by them because he is a Muslim. He filed a complaint with the State Minorities Commission alleging that the committee members of Nibbana refused to issue No Objection Certificate in spite of paying a token of Rs.1 lakh.
